Our sailing season is well underway. We have taken out almost 140 people in our last seven sailings. Included among them were two groups of blind students most of whom are associated with Hazelwood Elementary. We took out a sizable group of older women recovering and celebrating the recovery of cancer. We have taken out two groups from Seattle Harborview plus a large group from Kiwanis as a thank you to them for being a sponsor.
We have a sailing this coming Sunday and another on Friday, July 21st – the Dr. Coleman group. On August 13th we set sail with a drug & alcohol recovery group (Bonnie Locklie) and then we are likely to go up to Poulsbo for three more weekends (hospice) sailings.
